Port Jersey Peninsula Waterfront Observation platform - September 23, 2007

..The waterfront observation platform is located at the end of Port Jersey Blvd. A part of this man-made peninsula is set aside by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey as a wetland and wildlife preservation area. This little bit of urban coastline is a tidal habitat for several species of birds along with land and marine life. The endangered Least Tern and Black Skimmer birds nest along its shoreline....
